What we collect

The Plant Shop Guide does not require an account and does not ask for personal information to browse. If you email us or submit a shop, we receive whatever you choose to put in that message and use it only to answer you or update a listing.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages get read. It sets cookies and records aggregate information such as page views, approximate location derived from IP address, device type and referring site. We do not use it to identify individuals.

Advertising

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and review how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Business listings

Listings describe businesses, not private individuals, and are drawn from publicly available open data. If you own a listed business and want the listing changed or removed, email hello@theplantshopguide.com and we will do it.

Third-party links

Listings link out to shop websites, Instagram profiles and Google Maps. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for them.

Your rights

If you are in the EEA, UK or California you may request access to or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email us and we will respond.
